Steven Weiner, R. Ph.

I grew up in Oak Park, Michigan, where as a 12 year old I would hang out at, ‘Daring Drugs’ the local drugstore to look at magazines and model cars.  I would see the pharmacist explaining the prescriptions and over the counter drugs to his customers.  It was at that time I realized I wanted to become a pharmacist. I’m a 1974 graduate of the Wayne State University College of Pharmacy. Before moving to Adrian in 1975, I worked at Carlysle Pharmacy in Dearborn, Michigan, for Al Cohen-a wonderful mentor-whose wisdom and guidance continue to inspire me.

Gregory Kurtz, R. Ph.

I grew up in Adrian and graduated from Adrian High School in 1980. I then graduated from The University of Toledo in 1985 with a Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy. Since graduation, I have been a Pharmacist with Wheelock Pharmacy. I enjoy building relationships with our customers. Some of our customers have been coming here longer than I have been alive! I think having a repeat customer base is very important to us. I currently live in Sylvania, Ohio with my wife and 3 children.

Brian Smith, Pharm. D.

I grew up in Adrian and graduated from Adrian High School.  I started working at Wheelock Pharmacy in 1997 as a stock person.  While attending college, I worked as a Wheelock pharmacy technician.  I graduated from the University of Toledo in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmaceutical Science.  I then received my Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2006.  I have been working at Wheelock Pharmacy as a Pharmacist since the fall of 2006.  I have enjoyed working for and serving the people of Lenawee County and hopefully will continue to do so for a long time.

Lenny Weiner, Durable Medical Equipment/ Retail Store Manager

I was born and raised in the lovely town of Adrian.  I graduated from Adrian High School in 1999 and from there I went to Michigan State University where I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Packaging.  I have worked at Wheelock Pharmacy for the last 6 years as part of the Home Medical Equipment staff.  I hope to help provide people of Lenawee County and beyond, the knowledge and direction to improve their health and life style in the years to come.

Hi, my name is Rochelle and I have been with Wheelock Pharmacy for 22 years.  I started in the pharmacy then transitioned into the medical equipment department as their insurance biller.  I was born and raised in Adrian but now reside with my family in Hudson, Michigan. Hi, I’m Mary Ellen Parker and I joined the Wheelock family in July of 2008.  I graduated from Harper Hospital School of Nursing and Wayne State University more years ago that I care to remember!  As a family, we moved to Adrian, Michigan from Champaign, Illinois in 1985.  My late husband grew up in Adrian while I am from Detroit.  My children are adults and on their own; yet my house is dominated by three quirky felines.  It is a joy to work at Wheelock Pharmacy and Home Health Care with people who truly care about each other and their customers.  Every day is a new experience with multiple opportunities to teach and assist customers with their specific health care needs.

Hi, my name is Nick Creger. I was born in Tecumseh, Michigan, but I have lived my whole life in Adrian.  I graduated from Adrian High School in 1986 and have been employed at Wheelock Pharmacy for 26 years.  I assist with Home Medical Equipment sales and service; but my primary duties involve Oxygen Therapy Services. I am part of the 24 hour on-call team for your home oxygen needs. I enjoy working with all the customers and people everyday.  I also like that Wheelock Pharmacy is locally owned and operated.

Gary Beebe, Customer Service Representative/Repair Technician/24 hour Oxygen Therapy Service/C-Pap and Bi-Pap Specialist

I have been with Wheelock Pharmacy for 5 years.  I provide customers with the proper equipment and settings for C-Pap and Bi-Pap machines, as well as fitting the supplies needed for the best sleep results.  I’m in charge of equipment repairs for hospital beds, manual wheelchairs, scooters, and power wheelchairs.  I am also part of the 24 hour on-call Oxygen Therapy Services.
